What is Drop Wallet?
Drop Wallet is a self-custody crypto wallet: one account for holding, sending, swapping and staking crypto across 20 blockchain networks, unlocked with a passkey instead of a seed phrase.
Is Drop Wallet self-custody?
Yes. Your keys are created and used on your own devices. Drop never holds your funds, so it can't freeze, move or lend them, and it can't approve a transaction on your behalf.
Does Drop Wallet use a seed phrase?
No. Your wallet is unlocked with a passkey: Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint or your device PIN. There's no recovery phrase to write down, store or lose.
What happens if I lose my phone?
If your passkey syncs through iCloud Keychain, Google Password Manager or another password manager, sign in on your new device and your wallet is there. You can also set up backup passkeys or export your private keys ahead of time.
Which blockchain networks does Drop Wallet support?
Drop supports 20 networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Tron, XRP Ledger, Polkadot, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Zcash. See the complete list below.
Does Drop charge fees?
Sending and receiving are free; you only pay the blockchain's network fee. Swaps on the same chain carry a 0.8% fee, shown before you confirm, and cross-chain swaps carry none. Premium members pay no swap fee and get Solana network fees covered.
Can I send crypto to someone who doesn't use Drop?
Yes. Send to their phone number, email or X, Telegram or Discord handle, with no wallet address to copy. On Solana and Base the funds wait in an on-chain vault until they sign up and claim them, and you can cancel any time before they do.
